Rent Processing Officer - AO3 Brisbane CBD | Queensland Government| Immediate Start | Great Hourly Rate Exciting opportunity for a talented professional to become part of an outstanding team within a government department.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of services including applicant, tenancy, and property management, as well as providing advice to customers with complex needs.
The Role You will be part of a team that provides high-quality, person-centred support services to a diverse clientele facing complex housing and rent challenges.
Responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality customer support services Managing and processing household changes to complete rent calculations and assessments Following up with customers on outstanding information Assisting the Service Delivery network with enquiries Liaising with other parts of the organisation to refer and resolve customer requests Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring WH&S policies are adhered to Effectively using Microsoft products and other IT systems to maintain accurate customer and property records and notes Monitoring and prioritising workloads and assisting team members with escalated enquiries/incidents as required.
About You The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and have previously worked in a customer-facing role.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Ability to manage priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver consistent quality service with minimal supervision Demonstrate strong skills, knowledge and expertise in service delivery with a focus on teamwork and providing person-centred solutions Model professional, ethical and culturally sensitive behaviour and consistently apply those standards to yourself and others Have strong written and verbal communication skills Have Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and confidence to quickly learn additional IT systems To Apply Please note, successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal History Check.
