About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our NSW Commercial Banking team and manage a portfolio of customers in the $1M - $5M business lending segment.
As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a diverse portfolio of business customers, focusing on providing industry expertise, credit assessment, and tailored lending solutions.
You will work with both directly sourced customers and broker-introduced transactions, delivering outstanding service and driving portfolio growth with the support of a dedicated Assistant Relationship Manager.

What will your day look like? As a Relationship Manager, you will:
Portfolio Management : Manage and grow a portfolio of business clients, ensuring the development of long-term customer relationships. Customer Growth : Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and acquire new clients through networking and strategic planning. Credit Assessment & Origination : Conduct comprehensive credit assessments, ensuring adherence to credit policies while providing tailored lending solutions. Direct & Broker Introduced Transactions : Handle both directly sourced and broker-introduced business, ensuring high-quality service. Customer Solutions : Provide industry expertise and market insights to tailor product solutions to business needs. Collaboration & Support : Work closely with an Assistant Relationship Manager to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Risk Management : Manage risk across the portfolio by identifying potential issues and developing solutions to maintain credit quality. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience : Proven track record in commercial banking, managing a portfolio of clients in the $1M - $5M lending segment. Credit Skills : Strong background in credit assessment and origination, with an understanding of financial statements and risk management. Relationship Management : Ability to build and maintain relationships with business clients and broker partners. Commercial Acumen : Strategic thinker who understands the dynamics of business lending. Communication & Negotiation : Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate terms. Coach & Mentor : Ability to lead an Assistant Relationship Manager, focusing on their professional development. Customer-Centric : A passion for understanding and addressing customer needs.
