About the Role
In this role, you will lead a growing, purposeful and passionate organisation. The CEO will continue the work of the incumbent leadership team in delivering exceptional service to the organisation's client families, whilst always striving to find ways to make the organisation more efficient and effective. This work will be delivered in collaboration with the senior leadership team that is loyal, experienced and long serving.
The CEO will have responsibility for implementing the organisation's purpose, vision, values, meeting compliance requirements and most importantly ensuring that the organisation's hard-won reputation is not diminished.
The CEO will have carriage of the Board's growth agenda and be front and centre in networking, partnering and developing the funding opportunities that are being presented to the organisation as well as creating new prospects and funding streams.
Most importantly, the CEO will be a strong advocate for the organisation with the community and Elders and build strong working relationships for the betterment of all.

Our client's organisation has a long history in Boorloo (Perth) and has grown solidly, methodically and profitably since its inception. Emphasising prudent financial management along with a sharp focus on looking after its people and providing high quality service, these areas have underpinned the organisation's success. About You
The organisation is looking for a current CEO or a seasoned senior executive within a similar industry and/or organisation looking to step into a CEO role. Candidates should have a strong grasp of governance, planning, professional management, excellent interpersonal skills, and appropriate qualifications. Ideally, candidates will have gained knowledge, skills, and experience through work experiences in community services or similar positions/industries.
The ideal candidate will be a resilient, transformational leader who enjoys working with community, can positively impact the organisation, with the ability to persevere to achieve intended outcomes. With an expert knowledge of financial, staff management, and governance disciplines, the ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and deep values.
The organisation is looking for a CEO with strong conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to apply these in strategic planning, business development, advocacy, and financial management. Suitable candidates should be able to problem solve using creative thinking and drive positive and sustainable change and will possess the following:
Tertiary qualification, OR demonstrable experience at a senior level overseeing a range of operational functions in a service focused business Cultural responsiveness in working with Aboriginal peoples. Excellent leadership and connection skills Demonstrated ability in team development and capacity building Demonstrated financial management expertise Success in applying and receiving grants and external funding Sound analytical and conceptual skills. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic direction, to inspire a sense of purpose and to implement change. Additional requirements: The ability to pass pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol test. A current National Police Check (or ability to obtain). A valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain). A valid Open/ Unrestricted WA C Class Licence.
