Are you ready for your next challenge? We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Animal Welfare - Programme Manager join our ESG team based in Perth . Reporting to the Head of ESG, you will play a vital part in the implementation of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy. As part of Harvest Road Group's commitment to animal welfare this role will work closely with all business pillars to roll out welfare improvement activities and develop supply chain programs. This role will support the ESG workstream for Harvest Road Group. We have an unwavering commitment to eliminating avoidable pain and fear from animals in our supply chains. This role will include frequent travel to our properties and supply chain throughout Western Australia. Our ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualified or applied experience in a commercial or technical discipline related to animal welfare, animal science, or livestock production. At least 5 years' experience in the livestock industry. Demonstrated ability to liaise with partners and stakeholders as a key point of contact for animal welfare projects. Demonstrated track record of project management including previous project planning and team management experience. The ability to effectively lead and inspire a cross functional teams that focus on delivery, accountability, and performance excellence. Excellent communication both verbal and written. A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work autonomously, problem solve and work with ambiguity.
