About the role This role supports the success of the City by assisting the Animal Management Unit in delivering effective animal management services to the community and serves as the first point of contact for the public.
Role accountabilities include:  Answer telephone and face to face enquires, log complaints, incident reports and file notes and ensure that there is an efficient response to request and/or complaints and its associated legislation.
Co-ordinate the annual dog registration renewal process and kennel license renewal process including management of fees and the issue of infringement notices.
Maintain the dog registration register in accordance with the requirements of the Dog Control Act 2000 including monitoring legislative change and ensuring business and system processes and procedures reflect legislative requirement.
Undertake research and prepare correspondence, memorandums, reports and infringement notices and other documents for the Unit Learn more about the role in the position description: Animal Management Administrative Officer PD About you The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Business or have substantial experience in a similar role, along with a current Driver's Licence and a Working with Vulnerable People card.
