Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is motivated and has a keen eye for providing cost-effective and timely maintenance services.
You will find yourself working at our aged care site completing work order requests proficiently.
You will have a professional and positive edge, know your way around documentation, and can perform basic maintenance in plumbing or carpentry.
If you have a positive attitude, can engage well with customers, and you're eager to learn - we want to hear from you! What can you expect to be doing? Provide maintenance services at our aged care site in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner Perform and meet gardening, ground, and other maintenance order requests Participate in and contribute to quality improvement programs including documentation and stakeholder contacts Capture maintenance tasks involving reasonable timeframes, outcomes, and budgets Ensure all equipment is operated and serviced in accordance with site procedures and/or manufacturer's instructions Assist in identifying opportunities to improve services to residents from information provided through feedback forms, surveys, etc.
What do you need to bring? Trade qualification in Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical (or equivalent) or a minimum of 5 years of significant building industry experience (or equivalent) Proven knowledge and experience in a facilities or maintenance role The ability to deliver and monitor tasks & routine schedules Outstanding customer service skills, prioritizing empathy and understanding in interactions with residents and staff Display a genuine passion for working in aged care, showing dedication to enhancing the living environment for seniors Working from heights and white card desirable Administrative and computer skills to maintain records and access documentation relevant to jobs Up to date with Covid and Flu vaccination Possess a valid driver's license Who is Anglicare SA?
