We are looking for an administrative Afterhours Site Support worker to join our Bail Accommodation Program to provide support to staff and alleged offenders residing at The Arches.
The successful applicant will use a person-centred framework to support participants in their transition from The Arches to alternative accommodation in the community.
You will be multi-skilled and have the ability to interact with a broad diversity of people whilst working in a close team environment.
What can you expect to be doing?
Act as an afterhours onsite contact point for participants of the Bail Accommodation Support Program (BASP).
Complete inductions for participants that arrive afterhours.
Maintain up-to-date files, records and other administrative systems.
Prepare correspondence and other documentation as required.
Pack up and fit out participant rooms to support facility occupancy.
What do you need to bring?
Certificate III in Community Services or a related field, and/or experience engaging with individuals who have complex support needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of internal and external clients.
Ability to work in conjunction with and be sensitive to the needs of people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and religions.
