Located in Mount Claremont, AngliSchools is the proud owner and operator of 16 low-fee, co-educational schools across Western Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales. About the role
In the role of Director of Finance, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day financial aspects of the organization's operations by managing a team of finance and payroll professionals. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with senior staff across all disciplines of our business, your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring financial compliance with regulations and business policies (ASA, WAASA, ACNC, and ATO). Presenting financial reports to the CFO with commentary. Supporting the CFO in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, performing other ad hoc duties as required by the CFO to contribute to effective and efficient management of AngliSchools. Maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Supporting our 16 schools across Australia, providing guidance on all financial matters. Leading the finance and payroll team, offering guidance and support for professional development and growth. Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior finance role. Current knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and ATO regulations relating to not-for-profit enterprises. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including other staff, schools, external suppliers, and the Church.
