Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology) Company: ASX-listed / 10,000+ employees.Contract length: Initial 3 months with the view to extendYou will be joining a leading ASX organisation within their digital team, in a cross-functional team working closely with Technical Lead(s), Product Owners, Bas & Test/QA Engineers.Responsibilities:Develop high-quality, scalable, and performance solutions adhering to best practices.Actively participate in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC), collaborating closely with cross-functional agile teams.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, automated testing, and mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills and productivity.Experience required:5+ years experience in native Android app development in aspects of the mobile SDLC life cycleExperience with Jet pack ComposeDeep knowledge of the Android SDKUnderstanding architecture of complex Android solutions, experience in MVVMStrong knowledge of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelinesAn appreciation of good API design in a mobile context in addition to writing & maintaining Unit tests and UI tests
