The primary function of the Receiving & Inventory Clerk is to ensure the proper receiving of chemicals, materials and devices in a safe and effective manner and in accordance with procedures, as well as maintain an accurate inventory of finished goods, complete transfers between warehouses and ensure that all inventory is maintained and organized according to procedures.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Salary: $19.00/hour
Responsibilities & Duties: Receiving of Chemicals, Materials and Devices Inspect all received packages for damages & ensure accuracy of all purchase orders. Receive all items in accordance with cGMP guidelines. Coordinate with the Quality and Purchasing departments. BULK Material Analysis Ensure that BULK is received accurately and efficiently. Ensure accurate movements of BULK chemicals, materials and devices. Coordinate with other MEDISCA facilities for internal transfers. Transfer of Products Transfer all released finished goods from QS following production runs into physical bins utilizing MEDWMS/SYSPRO. Monitor Short Expiry material and transfer accordingly each month. Process all incoming SCT shipments with accuracy and efficiency. Perform Inventory Counts Perform routine cycle counts utilizing MEDWMS scanner and verify quantities in Syspro. Ensure that all inventory is accurate and Syspro quantities reflect physical counts. Coordinate with Customer Service/Shipping to resolve any discrepancies in inventory levels. Collaborate with Production/Inventory team to resolve any BULK discrepancies. Work with QS/Production and pull all inventory for rework, quarantine, investigation. Maintain Organized Inventory, Monitor and Manage Warehouse Goods Ensure all BINs are neat and organized. Consolidate goods and make necessary movements as needed. Staging of bulk material according to production schedule. Collaborate with all departments as needed for maximum efficiency. Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse environment, receiving or inventory experience in chemical/pharmaceutical or regulated environment is an asset. Lifting required, heavy lifting of up to 60lbs is required at times. Ability to use forklift, cherry picker, and other powered equipment required. Accountable, dependable, team player with great communications skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail is a must. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Knowledge of SYSPRO/MEDWMS an asset. Experience with FEDEX/UPS software an asset.
