The RoleThe Ancillary Assistant will operate as part of the Alfred Health non-clinical services team, taking direction from the relevant ward staff and non-clinical support services coordinators/supervisors and performing tasks as allocated. The Ancillary Assistant will assist the portering service in providing and maintaining a safe, efficient, and least disruptive transfer of patients and equipment within the Hospital, meeting or exceeding industry best practice. The Ancillary Assistant will work closely with other Support Services team members to ensure we maintain a committed, safe, and socially responsible multi-skilled team.
