Position: Casual Patient Transport Assistant Grade 1 or 2 (PS21 or PS25)

The DepartmentAlfred Health Support Services provides non-clinical support services across Alfred Health, including cleaning services, car parking and fleet management, waste management, gardens and grounds, distribution, security and access control, ward support, linen services, ancillary services, food services, and hospitality.
The RoleThe Ancillary Assistant will operate as part of the Alfred Health non-clinical services team and take direction from the relevant ward staff and non-clinical support services coordinators/supervisors, performing tasks as allocated. The Ancillary Assistant will assist the portering service in providing and maintaining a safe, efficient, and least disruptive transfer of patients and equipment within the Hospital, meeting or exceeding industry best practices. The Ancillary Assistant will work closely with other Support Services team members to ensure a committed, safe, and socially responsible multi-skilled team.
