Our purpose is to work with women, children and their families of the Ngaanyatjarra, Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara region in central Australia.
Our role is to work side by side and help increase their capacity to lead safe and healthy lives with improved life choices.
ABOUT THE TEAM The Palyawanungku Palyantjaku Program sits within the Child and Family Wellbeing Service which is made up of three programs: Child Nutrition, Child and Family Intensive Support Service (Walytjapiti) and Child Advocacy.
The primary focus of the Child and Family Wellbeing Service (CFWS) is to deliver targeted, efficient and effective community services within the NPY region, seeking the best possible outcomes with regard to improving the quality of life for Anangu children and communities.
The Palyawanungku Palyantjaku Program is focused on finding better ways to support Anangu children and families with many worries.
ABOUT THE ROLE The Project Officer will work alongside the Senior Project Officer in developing and delivering the Palyawanungku Palyantjaku Program.
This role will be the key interface between the community and the Palyawanungku Palyantjaku Program and will play a crucial role in the co-design process.
ABOUT YOU You will have the ability to work with a high level of autonomy and an understanding of issues that affect the health and well-being of Aboriginal people in remote communities.
