With demand growing for environmental consulting services, we're committed to investing in our infrastructure and people as we continue to grow.At EMM, we talk about purpose, not 'work'If you're an experienced PowerBI & Python specialist with a commercial focus, this newly created role is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in developing business intelligence and valuable insights to drive business performance and strategic focus during an exciting international growth phase.Here's what you can expect in your new role with EMM:You'll join at an exciting growth phase to develop insightful management information across Finance and the wider business, using technology to integrate data across our existing disparate systems systematically and automatically.PowerBI Reporting & Dashboards: You'll lead the design and develop powerful reporting and dashboards that provide actionable insights for Finance and other business units, harnessing data from a variety of sources across the organisationStakeholder Collaboration – You'll work in close partnership with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translating into technical requirements to design dashboards to drive actions in relation to trends, strategic opportunities and areas of improvementImplement and Automate: You'll identify opportunities to streamline and automate data collection and reporting processes to implement data models and databases to support reporting and analyticsYou'll have the autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance all aspects of your lifeWith offices across Australia; you'll be able to flex and enjoy hybrid working at its bestHere's what you'll bring to have impact:Proven experience in developing reports and dashboards using PowerBIStrong coding skills in Python, with experience in data manipulation and automation using platforms like Power Platform.Proficiency with SQL and database designDemonstrable BI Dev / BA experience with a proven ability to understand key business concepts and translating them into technical solutionsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills that underpin your ability to identify data challenges and develop effective solutions to integrate data from disparate systemsThe ability to clearly communicate and explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality that drives robust data validation processes to ensure data integrity, security and reliability.Our goal is to build a team of EMMers that looks like the world around us — and we want EMMers to stay and grow.
