Job Summary: Responsible for the provision of tactical analysis support to trainers during a military exercise. This position will lead a team of training analysts and technicians to deliver highly effective exercise support to training exercises in order to deliver required learning outcomes. This role will spend significant time deployed in the field and works under limited supervision, exercising discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Leads a team, driving a culture of accountability, managing performance and ensuring standards are at a high level. Assists with the issue and receipt of any and all equipment provided to the customer during the exercise, and received back. Conducts pre-exercise training of exercise players. Operates an analysis station within the control centre for each exercise. Observes and analyses exercise tactical events in conjunction with Army Observer Trainers to facilitate the production of multimedia product After Action Reviews. Assists in production of the exercise Take Home Pack summarising lessons learned and AARs. Assists management to refine standard operating procedures followed by all. Assists in the setup and take down of equipment for training exercises. Operates support vehicles up to heavy rigid. Monitors Ancillary Weapons Team staff performance and provides feedback to the Senior Analyst. Assists as a CTC LIS ancillary weapons SME in test, research and development events. General Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with Cubic's Quality Management System. Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures. Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisation. Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures. Other duties as requested. Skills/Experience/Knowledge 5+ years' experience in a similar role. Demonstrated ability to consistently lead a small team. Military experience. Eligibility to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Industry Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance. Understands the environment and terminology utilised by Army, specifically in the area of Combined Arms Training up to Battle Group level. Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite of applications. Personal Qualities Ability to lead a high performing team. Ability to travel as required and work outdoors. Experience or understanding of Sub-unit and Task group level counterinsurgency operations. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High levels of customer support and service delivery. Ability to work in a high-volume environment whilst maintaining delivery and a high standard of service. Condition of Employment: Successful outcome of a National Police Check.
