Global Merchant Network Services (GMNS) has relationships with millions of merchant businesses, in more than 25 countries, and delivers over $200B in spend. The people, processes and technology that support this key function are evolving to improve the merchant experience and economics. The GMNS Strategy & Capabilities (GS&C) team's mission is to deliver a best-in-class premium merchant member experience that will get merchants to not only accept American Express, but openly welcome and recommend us to their customers.
Within GS&C, the Sales Training & Enablement team is responsible for understanding key business and stakeholder priorities, and creating innovative and value-add change management, communication, and L&D (learning & development) solutions for the GMS Sales & Client Management organisations. This includes programmes to support new hire, core skill development (e.g. effective selling and financial acumen), as well as creative and engaging communications. All of which lead to empowering the field to manage merchant relationships with impact.
This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded individual to join a very exciting, collaborative and highly visible team. The Analyst for Training & Enablement, APAC will operate in a complex region, driving productivity and success of the sales teams that supports business goals across multiple markets.
Responsibilities Supporting the execution of the Training & Enablement team strategy across a number of global projects Supporting the team´s global communication strategy with a variety of different stakeholders with the ability to localise where required to ensure a targeted, purposeful, and efficient connection with key regional partners. Partnering with field training champions to understand most critical needs and be a credible voice for the field. Development of Regional reports that help to drive success within the team, including but not limited to reports that highlight trends, attendance rates and feedback from the field. Managing the operational side of team internal communications (mailboxes, calendars, Learning Management System (LMS), budget trackers, vendor lists etc.) to allow for a highly efficient and transparent communication and collaboration. Provide training support to Learning Consultant as required including event support, scheduling and project management support.
