Since commencing in Australia in September 2021, Kroll has prepared over 23 independent expert reports including for the shareholders of ALE Property Group, Sydney Airport, Humm/Latitude, Kyckr, Tassal, Pendal/Perpetual, Nitro Software, Slater & Gordon, Xpansiv, Abacus Property Group, Blackmores, United Malt, InvoCare, Estia Health, Pact Group, Allkem/Livent, Costa Group, CSR, Prospa, Altium and APM Human Services.These individuals have extensive experience across the most in-demand sectors of the valuation industry, including: preparation of independent expert reports for many of the largest public market transactions in Australia and business valuations for ASX top 50 companies and some of the largest government entities; portfolio valuations for many of the largest global and Australian institutional investors, including superannuation funds.Kroll is seeking highly motivated candidates to help grow our business valuation team in Sydney, Australia.At Kroll, your work will help deliver clarity to our clients' most complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges. Apply now to join One team, One Kroll.The role:As an Analyst, you will have an opportunity to work directly with clients and receive hands-on mentoring from senior valuations professionals. The remuneration is competitive and there are significant opportunities for career advancement. You will have an opportunity to work on high-profile independent expert reports as well as valuations for a range of other purposes, including financial reporting, M&A and strategic planning purposes.Responsibilities:Assessing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Australian and international businesses across a variety of industries and assets including (over the past two years) healthcare, consumer products, real estate, professional services and infrastructure;Working collaboratively within a flat team environment to help the team in forming our opinions of value;Liaising with financial and legal advisors, including Australia's leading investment banks, superannuation funds, institutional asset managers and law firms, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our valuation reports;Attending client meetings to gather information pertinent to the valuation including meeting with management of ASX listed companies, superannuation funds and institutional asset managers;Undertaking comparable company and comparable transaction analysis;Building DCF models and developing WACCs;Drafting reports, including independent expert reports;Accessing and monitoring financial market databases, industry and company research from platforms such as S&P Capital IQ, Refinitiv, IRESS and Connect4.Requirements:Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and potentially starting a CFA or CA;Related financial advisory experience, potentially including constructing and reviewing valuation models including: DCF, comparable company, and intangible asset models;Working knowledge of financial accounting;Strong analytical and problem solving skills;Attention to detail for public market reports;Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;Excellent written and verbal communication skills.About KrollJoin the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions—Kroll.
