As an Inventory Analyst, you will be accountable for forecasting activities associated with customers and products and the subsequent procurement activities and overall effectiveness of inventory with a key focus on maximising the return on investment and service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the creation of an accurate demand plan in support of the sales forecast for defined sales markets/customers across the APAC region.
Follow process to enforce robust policies and procedures for both inventory and sales that optimize restocking decisions, enforce lead time management, and availability measurements.
Deliver forecast accuracy improvements against defined KPIs through collaboration with key stakeholders such as Turn, Stock Health, Inventory provisions, and inventory to budget.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Oversee the placement of project and complex customer inventory to initial customer requirements providing a just-in-time delivery service.
Maintain day-to-day communication with the Global sales operation team and other groups on the progress and status of major projects.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels.
Adjust inventory plans as needed to align with changing business needs.
Drive automation and simplification within our processes and co-operative workstream planning.
Monitor SO cancellation report on a daily basis and take necessary actions, following up with the sales team to ship out the aged, allocated inventory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns with the vendor relationship team.
Resolve receiving problems and invoicing issues.
Coordinate intercompany and supplier returns.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / ATTITUDE:
Demand/Supply Planning/Procurement experience required.
Credentials of working with high SKU counts, multiple suppliers, and customers across geographies.
Experience of project lead demand planning desirable.
Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Fluent in English.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker with the ability to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
Strong collaboration skills, particularly with sales teams.
2 years required, 3 years preferred of relevant experience.
QUALIFICATION:
Degree Level, Supply Chain or Business Related Field.
