The broader Southwest Victorian team supports the Commercial and Agribusiness sectors. This role will be aligned with commercial customers and will support a wide array of customers, including property investment and development, Construction services, diversified manufacturing, wholesale as well as some larger retail, typically with credit facilities of $3M-$30M. We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Banking Analyst based in either Geelong or Warrnambool. As an Analyst, your role is key in supporting the Relationship Executives in meeting customers banking and finance needs. Your role will also see you develop and build direct relationships with new and existing customers. More specifically, you will: Work closely within Relationship Executives to understand and support customers' needs. Conduct financial analysis and modelling using our market-leading tools to understand and assess risks and opportunities so as to assist structuring, approval and fulfilment of customer finance requirements. Maintain and analyse client and industry data to recommend proactive solutions. Build strong relationships and liaise with both customers and business partners directly to assist fulfil customer needs. We want to hear from you if you have the following: A tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related discipline is highly regarded. An understanding of financials with the ability and confidence to interpret, understand and to ask appropriate questions. A passion for supporting commercial businesses and a desire to support its growth with region. A desire to deliver for our customers to help them achieve their goals. Strong verbal and written skills, an analytical mindset, and an ability to conduct research. A team focus and a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, develop, and to broaden your horizons.
