About the Role
The Analyst is responsible for undertaking reviews and analysis of business activities, mapping and articulating processes, navigating complex data sources, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities that will optimise the department's service delivery to the Victorian community.
Some of your duties will include:

Using research and analytical methods to analyse business activities, processes, and data, deriving actionable insights and recommendations.
Collaborating with business units to capture necessary information, coordinate efforts and manage interdependencies.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the department's processes.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to gather, clean, analyse and interpret data. Familiarity with business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
Proficiency in using process modelling tools and techniques to visually represent and analyse complex business processes.
Competence in synthesising research and analytical data to derive clear, actionable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications
Qualifications in fields such as business administration, information systems, data analytics, public administration, economics or cognate disciplines would be highly regarded.
