The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We are looking for an Analyst to join our Regulation, Economics and Pricing team.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of economic regulation and pricing strategies for all Power and Water lines of business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and submission of economic regulation materials to economic regulators, including the Australian Energy Regulator and Utilities Commission of the Northern Territory. Support business-critical projects relevant to economic and related regulatory outcomes with a focus on the inputs into modelling data and analytics and reporting for the water, gas, and electricity service streams. Produce high-quality presentation materials and written documentation. Develop and evaluate economic data, regulatory and pricing modelling, and analytics to support decision-making in a utilities environment. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Manage own workload and meet competing deadlines. A degree in economics, finance, accounting, or similar is considered highly desirable.
