PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Contribute to sound economic advice and commercial guidance on the business activities of Power and Water Corporation. Undertake
duties within the team to contribute to regulatory, pricing and economic analysis matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The "WHAT" to be delivered
Contribute to the development and implementation of economic regulation and pricing strategies for all Power and Water lines of
business.
Assist with the preparation and submission of economic regulation materials to economic regulators, including the Australian Energy
Regulator and Utilities Commission of the Northern Territory when required.
Contribute to economic modelling as an input into regulatory submissions, cost to serve analysis, tariff development, routine pricing,
major reform initiatives, project evaluations, and other ad hoc projects.
Play a supporting role in business critical projects relevant to economic and related regulatory outcomes with a focus on the inputs
into modelling data and analytics, for all Power and Water lines of business.
Accountable for reporting and data requests, including for electricity networks, annual benchmarking, and adhoc data requests.
Contribute to inputs into the regulatory, financial and economic analytical tools, models and outputs for business advisory and
forecasting revenues.
Accountable for developing procedures and guidelines as required.
Assist with the analysis of investment decisions, input costs, sale prices, product demand and general economic conditions and prepare
recommended strategic responses and policy development.
