Administrative and Corporate Services Band 2 (Remuneration Package Range $106,276 - $134,567) Customer, Strategy and Regulation Darwin Ongoing vacancy available Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end.
The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We are looking for an Analyst to join our Regulation, Economics and Pricing team.
In this role you will contribute to the development and implementation of economic regulation and pricing strategies for all Power and Water lines of business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and submission of economic regulation materials to economic regulators, including the Australian Energy Regulator and Utilities Commission of the Northern Territory.Support business-critical projects relevant to economic and related regulatory outcomes.Analyze and evaluate economic data, regulatory and pricing modelling, and analytics to support decision making in a utilities environment.You will need to demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within a team, with proven experience in managing your own workload and competing deadlines.
A degree in economics, finance, accounting or similar is considered highly desirable.
