As an analyst, you will be developing analytical insights into internal and external customer datasets to solve problems and deliver value for illion and its clients. Job Description The value-add things you'll be doing Solve client's business problems using a wide variety of data science techniques. Produce client governance reporting outputs for illion clients. Use data to derive insights and trends to provide commentary on the economy and credit market. Writing and maintaining code for analytical queries and programs. Perform sufficient levels of quality assurance testing to ensure outputs and processes are acceptable for internal or external delivery. Write and update appropriate procedure guidelines for internal processes and technical specifications for external client deliveries. Qualifications The experience and qualifications you'll need to be successful Ideally 2-4 years of work experience in analytics or a data reporting or programming related role. Completion of a degree in Data Science, IT, Mathematics, Engineering, Business or similar related industry experience. Key skills and attributes that will set you up for success Strong knowledge and experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server. Highly proficient coding capability in SAS EG and/or SQL as well as moderate skills in at least one other language such as R or Python. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) including the creation of high-quality procedure documentation and client presentations. Ability to navigate through cloud-based environments such as AWS. Knowledge of encryption, decryption, and FTP practices.
