Anaesthetist - Wollongong Hospital

Support the development of anaesthetic servicesSupport and facilitate a culture of learning and best practiceSupport and develop anaesthesia research within the departmentCommit to join our team for a minimum of 470 hours per annumBe confident working on a variety of cases including paediatric patientsApplicants expecting to be awarded Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) within six months may be considered. Salary for permanent 1 FTE $262,376 - $354,479 plus superannuation guarantee levy and any other applicable allowances as per the Staff Specialist State Award.
This position is also eligible for up to $10,000 in incentives under the Rural Health Workforce Incentives Scheme for Staff Specialists.
For Visiting Medical Officers interested in the position, the expected sessional hours would be 470 hours per annum, in addition to reasonable on-call shared amongst your anaesthetic colleagues. Paediatric skills would be favourable.
