**Anaesthetic Nurse** As an Anaesthetic Nurse, you'll play a crucial role in administering anaesthesia and supporting patients throughout their surgical experience.
Responsibilities Assist anaesthetists in preparing patients for surgery, including administering pre-operative medications and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.Monitor patient's vital signs and responses to anaesthesia during surgical procedures, adjusting anaesthetic levels as necessary.Provide continuous support to patients throughout the anaesthesia process, ensuring their comfort and safety.Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a sterile environment and assist with patient positioning as needed.Document all aspects of patient care accurately and comprehensively.Requirements Bachelor of Nursing Postgrad in Perioperative or Anaesthetic nursingAHPRA registeredBLSDemonstrated strong clinical skillsFull working rights within AustraliaValid Police CheckWorking with Children's Check (WWCC)Cultural competency Desirable Skills Venepuncture and cannulation experience Holds resus certBenefits Enjoy flexible scheduling options with both part-time and full-time hours available.
