As our department grows, we want you to grow with us! GV Health is seeking a self-motivated, dynamic Anaesthetic Nurse. The purpose of this role is to provide skilled assistance to medical staff for the safe administration of anaesthesia or sedation as specified in document PS08 2012 (ANZCA) - Recommendations on the Assistant for the Anaesthetist.
This role is also to ensure all equipment pertaining to the administration of anaesthesia is correctly maintained, checked and available for use while working in partnership with Perioperative and Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Colleagues to ensure safe outcomes for our patients.
Theatre is a seven-day per week service with shifts comprising a morning (07:30-17:30) and afternoon (12:30-22:30) as well as on-call outside of these hours. Currently, there are four theatres expanding to six which will provide a brand-new working environment and improved theatre facilities for both our patients and our team.

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered NurseRegistered nurse of a minimum of 3 years' experience as an Anaesthetic NurseBLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)Must hold current professional indemnity insuranceDemonstrated ability to provide safe, high-quality clinical careDemonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated commitment to teamwork and the maintenance of a supportive work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
