Reporting to the Retail Operations Managers, the Site Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the site. This is a customer-focused role with previous experience in the food industry being highly regarded.
As well as strong interpersonal skills, relevant experience in the following is highly desired however not essential for the right applicant: Rosters and budgetsEquipment maintenance and monitoring of electrical and pump equipmentStore administration, including daily reports, money handling, balancing, banking and reconciliationStock control, including data processing and management of stock to maximise sales and minimise stock lossDaily fuel monitoring, dips and meter readsStocktaking and reconciliationMaintaining exceptional customer serviceMerchandising strategies and promotional complianceSupervising staffDevelopment and training of the staff of console operators, improving performance and productivity of the store team while maintaining a safe working environmentEnsure that all operations of the site are running smoothlyLiaising with suppliers, vendors, internal and external accountsOther duties required to run the businessIn addition, the successful applicant will have a 'hands-on' role in performing console operator duties.
The site operates Beacon POS and back office systems. A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel is mandatory.
The position involves working a weekend day each week and the site is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
All applicants will stay current for 12 months.
Successful applicants must be able to pass a criminal history check.
