Partner with the best Under general supervision, you'll perform welding applications within one or more work teams. You'll also perform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications. Help facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance throughput within the work team. Responsible for supporting the team and team's objectives. Salary Range: AUD 80,000 – AUD 95,000 / Per-annum As the Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul (AMO) Welder - Wellbore Intervention, you will be responsible for: Being competent to weld and perform welding according to the applicable welding procedure specification and/or drawing requirement. This includes familiarity with carbide brazing.Being knowledgeable in welding processes particularly GMAW (Gas metal arc weld) and FCAW (Flux cored arc welding) process.Being capable at hand grinding and pre-heat on welds.Conducting visual and in-process inspections in accordance with industry and Baker Hughes quality specifications.Being competent to use measuring instruments and ensure the product meets drawing requirements prior to release from the weld station.Supporting shop activities and performing other tasks as assigned by the Shop Supervisor. Work Experience To be successful in this role you will: Have passed periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures and/or ASME IX.Have at least 3 – 5 years' experience in welding - GMAW (Gas metal arc weld) and/or FCAW (Flux cored arc welding).Basic Microsoft Office and computer knowledge to perform daily routine tasks.Have the ability to learn SAP and perform system transactions.Comply with company's safety requirements including performing mask fit tests, hearing tests, etc.Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
