We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ammonia / Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of Refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial properties.
This position will also have the ability (for the right candidate) to become our Industrial Project Manager.
A DAY IN THE LIFEA typical day in the life of an Ammonia / Refrigeration Service Technician might include:
Diagnosing and repairing Industrial Refrigeration Rebuilds of CompressorsTroubleshooting mechanical failuresPerforming equipment maintenance and routine rebuildsAdvising on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling unitsMaintaining good working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleaguesStaying up-to-date on industry regulations and best practicesTHE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEEDTo be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:
Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air ConditioningRefrigerant Handling LicenseRestricted Electrical LicenseQBCC Valid Red/White Safety Induction Card3+ years of experience in the commercial refrigeration fieldExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong technical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWHY YOU SHOULD APPLYWe are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about their work.
