Details of the offer

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost estimating, budgeting, preparing tenders, contract administration, and cost control of construction projects.
You will be required to gather and analyze data relating to project costs, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of all cost-related information.
You will be expected to work closely with the project team and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered within budget and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities: Attend meetings with Clients and ConsultantsPrepare cost estimates, cost plans and set budgets for projectsUndertake measurement for preparation of cost estimates, cost plans and preparation of BQsCome up with potential Value Engineering options for ClientsPrepare tender documentsProvide contract advice to clients on the form of contract utilizedConduct commercial tender reviews with clients / project managersAssist in the award of tendersConduct site visits as needed for monthly valuations and assessments of variationsPrepare and maintain accurate cost reports for the project team and stakeholdersLiaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders for updating pricingPerform other duties as required by clients or managementManage the internal team including coordination with colleaguesParticipate in internal workshops / trainingWhat is required from you: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience: 0-10 years of experience in a similar role or related field is requiredPreference is given to those with Consultant QS related experienceSoftware experience would be preferred: AutoCAD / CostXCharacteristics: Strong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelWillingness to work on construction sites and travel as requiredStrong work ethic and ability to work under pressureAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn and develop skills in quantity surveying #J-18808-Ljbffr
