Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Facility Supervisor, Facility Engineer, Facility Technician or other supervisory/management level position within the facility, responsible for supporting the maintenance program. Co-ordinates routine facility/equipment maintenance, minor repairs in order to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
Responsibilities: Escort and supervise providers activities within the facility Issue and complete maintenance reports Perform periodically challenge tests to assure facility and equipment respond as expected in case of incident (eg. Power Failure Test, Alarm Test & etc) Support temperature mapping activities as temperature sensor placement and equipment configuration Assists with maintaining the overall efficiency of equipment in the facility; responds to problems with equipment such as air and heating systems Assesses maintenance requirements Co-ordinates common office and warehouse maintenance, including light fixtures, doors, locks and minor painting Co-ordinates minor equipment & building repairs and improvements Maintains daily & monthly maintenance logs Maintains adequate spare parts inventory and tools Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures and safety rules Be available to work extended hours, as needed, in order to perform activities which cannot be performed during the normal working hours or planned to be done on determined periods Required to be part of an on call roster 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as in person attendance for emergency response in case of any concern occurring at the facility in relation to temperature control of the product Participate in reviewing and authoring global and local SOPs, WI's and TRN documents Work in all temperature-controlled environments including but not limited to +15 to +25°C +2 to +8°C -20 to -30°C Participate in occasional scheduled weekend tasks Perform any other duties the employee has been trained for Experience and Education Requirements: Requires some technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education Normally requires one (1) to two (2) years directly and progressively responsible experience Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements: Mandatory:
Position will require being able to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods described in manual handling training Ability to read and understand English for the purpose of following and implementing instructions Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions Ability to work independently Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously Experience with electric installation Desirable:
Experience with facility and warehouse maintenance Experience with HVAC operation and maintenance High Reach Forklift licence Policy and Procedure: Comply with standard operating procedures and policies to ensure that the function is demonstrating consistent practices nationally and is in line with strategic objectives Ensure WCA compliance with all government legislative and other requirements such as ACS, CASA, AQIS, IATA, ISO Ensure full compliance with international local regulations such as WCA RACA SP (Registered Air Cargo Security Program) Australian Customs IATA regulations Ensure full compliance with WCA quality management systems (GxP) Workplace Health and Safety: Actively promote a culture that values a safe and healthy workplace Take reasonable care of, and cooperate with actions taken to protect the health and safety of both themselves and others Report all accidents, incidents and hazards to their supervisor as soon as is practicable Ensure compliance with relevant OH&S legislation and that any issues are identified and actioned in line WCA policy What Cencora offers: Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
