If you are willing to roll your sleeves up and contribute to this journey, we would love to hear from you! About the Role: A permanent opportunity for an experienced Empty Container Handler Operator (Forklift) to join our team at the Container Park in Altona North on AM Shift (6am to 2.30pm).
The role and responsibilities will include: Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure safe operation of the forklift and containers are stacked correctly, safely and in correct location.
Keep forklift in a clean and tidy condition.
Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Complete Pre-operational forklift check procedures at the start of each shift.
Includes all checks of tyres, fluids and operating elements.
Responsible for ensuring implementation of, and compliance with, all relevant depot policies and procedures, in particular those relating to OH&S.
To be successful for this role, you will need: Experience in container park operations preferred.
Any exposure or experience in handling/moving shipping containers would be highly desirable.
Strong safety consciousness.
A team player with good communication skills.
