Position Description An exciting opportunity has opened for an Assistant Product Manager to join the ICS (International Card Services) Lending Products Team. This team is responsible for product refresh activity, new product development, commercial/margin improvement initiatives as well as ongoing portfolio and commercial management for our lending card portfolio across ANZ. This role has a heightened focus on the NZ market.
Reporting into the ICS Lending Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of optimum value propositions, upholding high product compliance and regulatory standards, whilst concurrently delivering long-term product profitability. You'll form a key part of the International Card Services (ICS) Product & Lending Team.
Key accountabilities : Support the Product Manager on execution of the consumer Lending Card Product strategy across ANZDelivery of product refreshes, benefit uplifts/changes and special projects through partnership with functional teamsSupport the Product Manager on strategic initiatives to maximize the Product P&L through a combination of account growth and margin enhancementManage and maintain strong relationships with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Servicing, Credit & FinanceEnsure high standard of product compliance, identifying and addressing any operational or regulatory riskManagement of any product changes across all collateral and assets and ownership of validation of theseOversight of ongoing regulatory requirements, reviews & audits for AU and NZ lending productsOngoing reporting on product metrics including benefit utilization, Card Member behavior, margin etc.Competitor reviews to identify trends, threats and opportunitiesLiaise with the internal marketing teams regarding product positioning, promotions, and go to market execution of campaignsTo be successful in this role you will : Be a strategic thinker and self-starter with strong problem-solving and collaboration skillsHave strong commercial acumen, including ability to identify and size business opportunities.Have proven project management experience with discipline to manage multiple projects running concurrently.Be a team player who is flexible and maintains a positive attitude even during changing work priorities.Be analytically minded with the ability to turn data and research into actionable insights.Be a customer advocate with a pulse of trends shaping demand.Have a good understanding of Amex products and ANZ competitive landscapeHave excellent written and oral communications skills to influence at all levels.Be motivated, resilient, results focusHave 3-5 years' experience in a Marketing or Product environment.Minimum Qualifications We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
