We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Deputy Chief Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be Canberra based and will play a critical part in developing and delivering cyber capability for Defence.

What will I be doing day to day? Manage the program's Engineering Management System Manage the engineering team to ensure technical integrity of the delivered materiel systems Support the achievement of project milestones Actively coordinate, monitor, and report on the delivery of the Engineering Team's work packages Manage the progress of the work, anticipating and responding to events to remain on schedule Build and maintain strong relationships to facilitate effective day-to-day interactions with key internal and external stakeholders Coach and mentor the Project Team What sort of skills do I need? Degree qualification in engineering (software engineering preferred) or Information Technology Experience in the systems engineering lifecycle Experience with Engineering Management Systems Cyber Security or Cyber Warfare knowledge desirable Australian citizenship and security clearance required
