About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant/Client Advisor to join our AMD Southwest team. The ideal candidate will have a desire to be a valued member of the team and take ownership of their own client base, with the ambition to grow within the firm.
You will be involved in a range of accounting tasks and client advice, including:
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for medium to large businesses including companies, trusts, and partnerships Client engagements and advice Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals Prepare, oversee and advise on BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, and statutory reporting requirements Assist to manage client relationships Liaise effectively with external and internal stakeholders Mentor and review work for junior members of staff About you: To be successful in this role, ideally you will have the following experience and attributes:
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role CA / CPA Qualification Strong technical skills in tax compliance, financial reporting, and advisory services A dedicated client service focus with a passion for building long-lasting relationships Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A desire to be a valued member of the team and take ownership of your own client base, with the ambition to grow within the firm Current driver's licence with own transport National police clearance no older than 3 months or be able to obtain This role is advertised as Full-time; however, part-time will be considered.
