We're seeking a dynamic and ambitious Senior Accountant ready for the next step in their career, to help develop a relatively new office based in Bunbury WA. If you're passionate about making accounting more straightforward for your clients, you could be the perfect match. In a diverse role which you can make your own over time, you would be responsible for the final reviewing of financials, while guiding the team and building strong client relationships. What we're looking for: Someone with a minimum of 3+ years in public practice accounting - strong Australian accounting knowledge is a necessity, coming from either a Compliance or Tax Accounting background. You will have undertaken a relevant tertiary degree and CA/CPA accreditation (or currently be working towards completion of CA/CPA). Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work within set timeframes and meet deadlines in line with client expectations. Strong with use of technology and proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks). Xero Practice Manager (XPM) experience highly regarded, although not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence and professionalism when interacting with clients, both in written form and verbally. Commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing professional development. A team player, who is actively looking to get involved with the office dynamics and culture.
