Amazon Heathwood - Maintenance Technician

The focus of this role is to perform basic maintenance activities on a variety of equipment across the site.
This will include machinery inspection, parts replacement according to maintenance manuals and testing, whilst following safety regulations and policies.Client DetailsTogether with the technical team, you will ensure high availability of the technical systems through a high degree of initiative and the necessary technical know-how.DescriptionKey job responsibilities:- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site- Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager- Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customersProfileQualifications:- Formal Trade Qualification with current electrical license- Experience of computer maintenance systems (CMMS)- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems- Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems- Ability to read and understand electrical /mechanical drawings- Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters- Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulationsJob OfferLocation: Amazon Heathwood, QLDHours: Wednesday - Saturday 10pm - 8am (inclusive of Night Shift Penalties)
