They are now seeking a motivated, driven, and passionate Transport Operations Supervisor to join their business in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
This busy position will be responsible for the supervision of their busy PUD operations on the day shift 4am – 4pm.
This position will suit someone who is driven to take their career to the next level, who is motivated and passionate about the transport and logistics industry, takes pride in their work, and strives for operational excellence.
To be considered you will possess the following skills and experience:
Previous experience working in a fast-paced transport operations position in a leadership capacityProven experience in freight allocation, preferably in the FMCG industryExperience working within a fast-paced and quality-focused sectorStrong customer service focus with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle customer demandsProven knowledge and understanding of compliance/road safety/standardsExceptional planning, organisation, and time management skills with high attention to detailComputer literate with the ability to use TMS systems effectively in addition to Microsoft applications such as Word and ExcelA hard-working, flexible and motivated attitude to workIf you possess the above skills and experience and are seeking an opportunity to join a supportive and dedicated team, don't delay!
