About the PositionAs the Alumni and Donor Engagement Officer, you will assist with stakeholder engagement activities to effectively promote Charles Darwin University as a destination for philanthropic gifts and engage alumni in support of the University's strategic objectives. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will foster meaningful relationships with alumni, donors, and other key stakeholders, and will be instrumental in creating a vibrant community that supports the university and promotes lifelong connections with its graduates.
About You To be successful, you will require:
A Degree in a relevant area such as public relations, stakeholder engagement, communications and marketing, with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in university advancement, fundraising and administrative fields, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Experience in working with customer relationship management systems and database systems.Demonstrated experience in working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and liaising with people from all levels of management.Demonstrated ability to use initiative to meet challenges, including planning, implementation, project management, and reporting.Demonstrated efficient administrative skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.Knowledge and understanding of modern stakeholder engagement methods, protocols and standards.A clear and confident communication style, and the ability to draft reports and content with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Experience in event coordination, communications, fundraising, or campaign management is preferable but not required.This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT) 1992.First Nations applicants are strongly encouraged to apply & will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy. RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Professional Level 6. The base salary will be in the range of $86,629 to $92,329 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $101,355 to $108,024 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
