About the role We have exciting opportunities available for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team across the various departments at Queensland Alumina Limited (QAL).

Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and proceduresCompleting planned and breakdown maintenance on pumps, pipework, valves, conveyors, mills, turbines and associated equipment including overhauls, installations and assembly change-outsDiagnosing and recommending repair methodsMonitoring, isolating, commissioning and performing preventative maintenance and conducting operational activitiesIdentifying, developing and implementing improvements relating to the plant equipment, work processes and practicesEffectively communicating with section stakeholders and peers to safely achieve maximum productivity of a high standardAbout you To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
