Altx Group | Credit Analyst

Description The Role Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Analyst supports the credit function that underpins the AltX Group offerings. This role has primary responsibility for ensuring that credit submissions are accurately compiled for presentation to the Credit Committee and loan documents are accurately instructed and prepared.
Key Accountabilities Reviewing and assessing loan applications Undertaking due diligence in accordance with AltX's credit policies and procedures Ensuring all relevant financial and legal documents have been supplied to support loan application process Analysing and validating supporting documents including reviewing & interpreting Financials, Tax Returns and valuation reports Conducting and interpreting searches (company, guarantors, title) Preparing credit submissions and presenting recommendations to the Credit Committee Managing pipeline of incoming loan submissions on a day to day basis Preparing loan instructions and liaising with solicitors to ensure loans are instructed efficiently Contributing towards ensuring processes are streamlined and efficient You'll Know You're Successful in this role You're recognised by the business as having excellent knowledge of all AltX Group products You've shown yourself to be solution oriented and willing to constructively engage with the BDMS, brokers and other relevant stakeholders Your credit papers are well written and error free Key Skills, Experiences and Attributes Experience in the banking, non-bank and finance industries, specifically within a credit role Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment Experience in credit assessments of long term product offerings Experience with assessing PAYG and Self-Employed applications Hold Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) Strong numeracy and analytical skills, and a high attention to detail Ability to write clearly and concisely Customer-centric and solutions focused Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word Excellent multi-tasking, time management and communication skills Role Type #J-18808-Ljbffr
