Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic Warehouse management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative, dynamic, and dedicated teammates. You'll ensure robust warehousing processes are in place to manage material availability in line with operational needs and align physical & system flows. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Procurement, Operations, and Quality Assurance), manage warehousing (including line replenishment) and logistics activities to support the operations and much more. You'll play a critical role in ensuring materials are delivered line side appropriately for our NGR fleet of trains & Gold Coast Light Rail Vehicles. This role will be based at our Depot in Wulkuraka. However, you will be required to travel between the two sites (Gold Coast) from time to time.
We'll look to you for:
Ensure Logistics Operators follow ALSTOM warehouse processes Define the warehouse layout and optimize the storage space (layout, warehouse sizing, slow moving stock / scrapping process) Manage Logistics Operators & aligned team members activities to the warehouse workload Monitor & challenge the performance of all activity through Key Performance Indicators Actively contribute to the Continuous Improvement activities & APSYS roadmap in all areas of the supply chain. Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies. Maintain accurate theoretical inventory counts and ensure stocks are maintained at optimal levels through cycle counts & other inventory accuracy methodologies. Manage the physical material flows (reception, put-away, kitting, mirror area, shipping) to always keep physical and system flows aligned. All about you
