The opportunity:
We are on the lookout for an Allocator to join our team based at our RichmondSupport Office! Reporting directly to the Merchandise Planning Manager, this position requires a driven and detail-oriented Allocator who will be responsible for allocating the appropriate stock to our Retail & Online Stores.The purpose of this role is to help optimise profitable sales and stock turn in stores and achieve financial KPIs by effective allocation, administration, and replenishment of products.

Key duties and responsibilities: Initial allocations based on store analysis and capacity and in line with the range and gridding plan Replenishment of styles to stores bi-weekly Ensuring promotional styles are phased into store in line with the marketing calender to optimise promotional results Consolidations of key styles and sale stock between stores Inventory management - monitoring transfers and stock deliveries to stores ensuring that stock movement is always accounted for Ensuring Stock is secured for new store openings and DC stock clean ups Management of store optimum stock levels and their capacity levels on associated reports Proposing changes to store gridding / product mix based on analysis of performance. Developing and ensuring relevant reporting tools are up to date and accurate Maintain the right product mix, analyzing and reacting to store trends and overall performance Identify opportunity to increase sales through changes in product allocation to best and worst performing stores Monitor gaps and make recommendations for action Assisting Planning and Design team with ad hoc reporting and analysis requirements Administration of allocation and model stock templates Markdown price management and data entry into AP21 Raise sales orders as required and promotions in AP21 Regular communication with Area Managers and store teams re: Stock/Product issues, markdowns & price changes, scanning & barcode issues, stock transfers etc The skills and experience you offer us: Advanced computer skills, in particular, Excel & MS Office Strong organisational and time management skills – must demonstrate a methodical, systematic approach to managing multiple tasks. Excellent analytical and data based skills. Responding to retail reporting to make sound and informed recommendations and decisions. Close attention to detail, with pride to be taken in accuracy. Enthusiastic, inquisitive, and proactive work ethic Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience using reporting systems (AP21 or similar) preferred.
