We have a great opportunity for an experienced Allocator to join our growing Boral Asphalt team in Eagle Farm. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role will see you responsible for allocating bitumen deliveries to meet customer needs, whilst ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with the chain of responsibility, fatigue management and mass management.
In addition, this role will be responsible for the compliance and administrative tasks associated with our internal HV fleet and our external Asphalt carters.
Your day will involve:Manage the efficient daily allocation of bitumen to ensure on time deliveries with the ability to receive after hours calls when required.Ensure Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements are consistently upheld.Monitor driver hours to ensure Basic Fatigue Management rules are met.Support our Asphalt Metro team with HV compliance & auditing.Managing the compliance and on-boarding of our external Asphalt Carters.What we are looking for:Experience in fleet scheduling, tracking and planning.Sound knowledge of chain of responsibility, basic fatigue management and mass management.Experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people.Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal).Strong Administrative capability.What's On Offer?Supportive & collaborative team environment.Genuine career and growth opportunities.Novated car leasing scheme.About Boral AsphaltBoral Asphalt supplies high quality surfacing solutions for a wide range of Australian road and construction projects - from local streets to highly complex infrastructure including freeways, highways and airport runways.
