Allocation Supervisor

Allocation Supervisor role leading delivery planning to major retailers.
• Flexible working with a Mount Waverly based HQ.
• The business is in growth mode; specialising in final mile delivery nationally.
Client Details The business provides end to end fulfilment services across the country for major retail clients and is investing heavily in added value (particularly in systems & electric vehicles).
Your team of Planners will service major retail contracts in Victoria for high profile retail and pharmacy clients.
Description Reporting into the Business Unit Operations Manager, you will lead the Allocation team to execute routes in line with the National Allocation Strategy; ensuring the successful day-to-day planning, routing, and allocation of deliveries for some major clients in the pharmacy and retail space.
Day to day you will:
Ensure maximum cross-utilisation and productivity of the driver fleet to meet KPIs whilst supporting the Allocation team to effectively utilise routing software and capacity management systems.In collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, manage the allocation team to conduct rostering of the fleet in accordance with strategy, the clients' needs and the volume of work.Lead the Allocations team, working collaboratively with the Operations team to implement improvements where possible.Drive a positive culture with the driver fleet by building effective and supportive relationships and ensuring responsive, open and positive communication.Guide the team of Allocators with communicating effectively and positively using dispute resolution strategies with a view to reaching a positive outcome for customers.Review Allocation activities to ensure the fair and impartial allocation of work to DPs in line with their pay arrangements.Profile You will have several years of experience supervising an allocation/transport planning team with an excellent understanding of routing software and FMS (Freight Management systems).
You will be able to evidence having planned and optimised routes for retail customers and ideally hold a Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field.
Job Offer Circa $110,000 + super + bonus.
