Department for Health and Wellbeing – Clinical System Support & Improvement – Office of the Chief Allied and Scientific Health OfficerSalary: $108,109 to $116,864 – ASO7 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 31 December 2025Overview: The Allied and Scientific Health Office Business Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing Allied and Scientific Health Office (ASHO) team programs, projects and services which deliver state wide services and support to Allied Health professionals.
The role leads the planning and delivery of ASHO administrative programs and services which support the ASHO in the delivery of state wide clinician engagement, advocacy, professional leadership and system advisory functions.
This includes the day-to-day management of the Allied Health Professionals Professional Reimbursement Development Program and Team in consultation as appropriate with the Allied and Scientific Health Office team.
The role leads and undertakes the delivery of high-level support and services for the Chief Allied and Scientific Health Officer including monitoring monthly financial reports and evaluating budget performance and managing and reviewing ASHO records management and human resource functions.The Allied and Scientific Health Office Business Program Manager is also responsible for leading the development, delivery and review of complex process improvement and change management related projects and leading and undertaking complex research and analysis processes to inform evidence-based decision making.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
