About the opportunity: Position: Allied Health – Senior
Vacancy: Fixed Term Temporary part-time, 22.8 hours p.f. from 27.01.2025 up to 25.01.2026.
Location: Older Persons Mental Health, Mental Health Service Group, Townsville Hospital and Health Service

Requirements: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to commencement of clinical duties. All employees of the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the Service. Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis. While not mandatory, eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be well regarded. Probation period may apply.
