In this key leadership position, you will help drive improvements in service quality, workforce development, and community-based healthcare solutions, in line with the SA Rural Allied and Scientific Health Workforce Plan 2021-2026.About the RoleAs a Senior Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in:Delivering high-quality services and professional leadership to allied health professionals across EFNLHN.Working closely with the Education and Workforce Development Team, senior leadership, and internal and external stakeholders to improve service delivery, workforce skills, and community engagement.Leading initiatives to enhance the quality, safety, and accessibility of allied health services in the region, ensuring alignment with the local model of care and workforce development objectives.Supporting continuous improvement efforts in quality, service planning, and workforce planning to meet community needs.You will work closely with the Clinical Operations Manager, Community and Allied Health to operationalise strategies aimed at building a skilled workforce for the future, enhancing the capacity of local health professionals, and supporting the sustainable delivery of services in rural and remote areas.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you will need:A recognised qualification in an Allied Health profession and eligibility for full membership of the relevant professional association.Extensive experience in community engagement, client and family-centred practice, and cultural competency, with demonstrated examples of how you have developed these skills in yourself and others.Experience in data management, budget management, and technology integration within clinical settings, as well as post-graduate or professional development qualifications.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with examples showing how you've supported diverse teams to achieve high-quality outcomes.A proven track record of contributing to service planning, development, and quality improvement at a local, regional, or state level.Experience in providing clinical supervision, mentoring, and education to less experienced staff and students.Leadership experience in service development, research, and evaluation, with the ability to apply primary health care principles to service reorientation.Project management experience, with the ability to lead, implement, and evaluate change initiatives.The RegionThe Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) covers almost 340,000 square kilometres of spectacular South Australia, supporting about 40,000 people living around Eyre Peninsula and the Far North of the state.EFNLHN is South Australia's highest performing Local Health Network, focused on improving the experiences of patients and consumers, supported by a caring and compassionate culture.
