The role will be offered at Allied Health Professional Grade 3 or 4, depending on experience and qualifications.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Evaluating research activity within allied health and related research capacity initiatives within a research frameworkDeveloping allied health service-wide and discipline specific research strategies aligned with clinical priorities and the RCH StrategySupporting individual and team research capacity development and innovation, including undertaking research, teaching and trainingDeveloping research partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholdersWhat you'll achieve: Conduct research activities in alignment with the strategic direction of the RCH Allied Health Research and Allied Health ServicesProvide specialist advice, consultancy, education and support across RCH Allied Health to facilitate engagement in clinical research/evidence-based practice activities.Attract internal and external competitive funding and manage project/grant financesClassification for this position will range from Grade 3 Year 1 to Grade 4 Year 4 (base salary $100,089 to $133,530 per annum, plus superannuation).
Your skills and experience: Demonstrated record of research with outcomes demonstrated in the number of peer reviewed publications, successful grant applications.Demonstrated ability and commitment to practice collaboratively with multidisciplinary health care teams to promote the conduct of high quality research.Demonstrated effective communication skills and workplace behaviours in all interactions including the ability to discuss complex research/clinical topics with patients and/or their family members in a sensitive and professional manner.Demonstrated ability to provide mentoring, assistance and supervision to relevant clinicians/junior researchers across the same or other disciplines for research activities.If this sounds like you, click here to view the position description.
